 CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

Dear Members,

It is both an honour and privilege to have been re-elected as Chairman of our great Club. I

sincerely thank all members for the confidence and trust you have once again placed in me.

I remain committed to serving the club to the best of my ability and to contributing to its

continued growth and success. I would also like to thank the members of the Managing

Committee for stepping forward and accepting the responsibility of serving alongside me.

We have assembled a strong and enthusiastic team and I look forward to working with them

as we continue moving our Club forward.

Max Noronha, Chairman

The year 2026 holds special significance as we celebrate the 125th Anniversary of our Club in November. Reaching this

milestone is no small achievement and reflects the dedication, friendship and hard work of generations of members who

have kept our Club thriving over the years.

To commemorate this historic occasion, we are exploring plans for an elaborate week-long programme of social and

sporting activities. Once preliminary plans have been finalized, an SGM will be convened to allow members to discuss and

decide on the proposed celebrations.

This Anniversary belongs to all of us and we would love to hear your ideas and suggestions to help make it truly

memorable. Whether for social events, sporting activities or any other aspect of the celebrations, your input will be

invaluable. After all, the strength of our Club has always come from the involvement and participation of its members

“ This Anniversary belongs to all of us ”

As preparations gather momentum, we may also need volunteers to assist with organising and running the various events,

encourage everyone to participate, support our activities and help make this celebration a success. With your support, I

am confident that our 125th Anniversary will be a fitting celebration of our proud history, an opportunity to strengthen

old friendships, create new memories and showcase the spirit that makes our Club so special.

Together, we can make this milestone celebration a landmark event that will be remembered for years to come.

Thank you once again for your confidence, support and commitment to our Club. I look forward to working with all of you

as we celebrate our proud past and build an even brighter future.
