Stunning men's victory Tanzania's Aphonce Felix Simbu in the men's marathon.

 Alphonce Felix Simbu

In the men's marathon at the Tokyo World Championships, Tanzania's Alphonce Felix Simbu won gold with a time of 2:09:48, narrowly edging out Germany's Amanal Petros by less than a second. Italy's Iliass Aouani claimed bronze with a time of 2:09:53. This race was noted for its dramatic finish, marking it as one of the most dramatic.
Congratulations Tanzania! It will go down as one of the great marathons of our time. At the finish in very hot conditions there were three or four possible winners. Simbu shocked everyone by winning by the provobial hair's breath. He beat a lot of other more seasons marathon winners.
